Now let's take a closer look at the play in three quarters time, what we will use a metronome, how do we calculate with this. Well, as we have played in four quarters of time, before we are counted as one, two, three, four, one, two, three. Now, three quarters alone would count to three times each, one, two, three, one, two, three, but we probably only played a quarter or a record of the same note repeatedly thin enough if we are going to play things things that are more advanced. So if we use a metronome, sometimes it will help with the beat. Now, we want to beat us, I usually want to remain at zero where it all together and what makes us depend on our counting skills. Okay, let's slow down some, one, two, three, one, two, three. And this is the famous bass line of jazz song and it starts with a pickup note, which is located in 'and. " one, two, three-and, one, two, three, one, two, three, G, C, G, C, E flat-G, C, G, C, E flat, two, three, (HUMS & play bass line).

Double bass used In jazz
Starting about 1890, early New Orleans jazz ensemble (which played a mixture of marches, ragtime, and Dixieland) was initially a marching band with a tuba or sousaphone (or occasionally bass saxophone) supplying the bass. When the music moved into bars and brothels, the double bass instrument is gradually being replaced by wind. Many early bassists doubled on both bass brass "" and "string bass," as the instrument is then often called. Bassists played "walking" bass lines based on the harmony scale outlined.

Playing and performance considerations
Physical considerations
Like all non-fret string instruments, performers must learn to place their fingers precisely to produce the correct tone. More frequent hand movements required by the size of the instruments that increase the likelihood of intonation errors. For bassists with smaller hands, a large space between the pitches may be a significant challenge, particularly in the lowest range, where the largest space between the notes.
Performing on the bass can be physically demanding because of the large and thick strings. Also, the space between the notes on a fingerboard is huge because the scale length and string spacing, so players have to shift positions often. Increased use of play techniques such as thumb position and modifications to the bass, such as the use of lighter-gauge strings at lower voltages, has lightened the difficulties to play the instrument. Bass part has relatively few parts fast, double stop, or a big leap in range.

Double Bass
History
The double bass is generally regarded as a descendant of the modern family of string instruments from Europe in the 15th century, and because it has been described as a bass violin. " Before the 20th century many double bass only three strings, in contrast to the 5-6 string instruments in a typical family of four strings or string instruments in the violin family. Several instruments exist, such as that by Gasparo da Salo, has been converted from sixteenth-century six-string contrabass violoni.
The double bass is the only modern bowed string instruments are sought in quarters (like a violin), rather than fifths (see Tuning, below). The issue is the precise genealogy of the instrument is still the subject of some debate, and the assumption that the double bass is a direct descendant of the violin family is one that has not been fully resolved. Teaching work for double bassist includes giving private lessons

Bass Guitar Player Of Type
There are three types of bass players as far as I'm concerned.
1. The Guitar Player frustration. This is a guy who thinks a four-string bass guitar, he plays the same notes with the guitar playing at the same time. While this adds an illusion of a Bass Player, this technique does not really add a lot of mixtures.
2. Egomaniacs that. Les Claypool has an interesting approach, ... and work for him. This will not work for you, so knock it off. I do not even like guitar players who play fast.
3. Good-minded rhythm centered Bass Player. In case you could not guess by the title of the weighted clear, this is the group I self-confidence to enter this is the technique I will now describe as the correct way to play Bass only.

About 12 String Bass Guitar
Basically just a four string bass that has 8 "guitar" strings are grouped with the string bass. Guitar strap is usually placed on the string bass (or fundamentals). Normally tuned guitar strap together one octave above the bass strings. Playing all three of the string or the string group at the same time sounds like a bass guitar and two other playing guitar at the same time produce great sound. Different techniques such as open chords and power chords can be used to play five or more strings at the time of making 12 string bass sound like a complete rhythm section.
12 String Bass Guitar An Intro
Most 12-string bassists use a pick to pick the 12ver life, although there are those who choose to use finger style (in this case but the two octaves are usually hung below the fundamental). Experienced 12-string bassists can manipulate the octave (which is good on the basics) and / or fundamental separately to accent the notes they play, but the most common method is to suppress three separate strings for each note simultaneously.

Funk
Funk is a genre containing elements of African-American dance music. Funk music generally can be identified through the rhythm which is often cut short, the sharp sound of rhythm guitar, percussion is dominant, the strong influence of jazz, rhythm-music-influenced rhythms of Africa, and the impression is found to be excited when I heard her. Funk roots can be traced to the type of rhythm and blues from the Louisiana area in the 1960s.
